IRONFIST is a high-quality iron chelate specifically developed for effective correction and prevention of iron deficiency in plants. Formulated with EDDHA, one of the most stable and effective chelating agents available, IRONFIST ensures optimum iron availability even in alkaline and calcareous soils.
This product is strictly intended for soil application and provides fast, visible results, particularly under the following conditions:
A) Soil Texture:
Quicker and more effective results are observed in light-textured and sandy soils due to better product movement and root access.
B) Soil Moisture:
Moist soils significantly improve iron mobility and uptake, accelerating the product’s effectiveness.
C) Soil Temperature:
Warm soils enhance microbial and root activity, supporting faster iron absorption compared to cold conditions.
IRONFIST should be applied directly to the soil either in dry form or dissolved in water. It can be used through furrow application or via drip irrigation systems, according to the recommended dosage. Once absorbed by the roots, the iron is efficiently translocated throughout the plant, helping to restore chlorophyll production and improve overall plant vigor and productivity.
Thanks to its EDDHA chelate form, IRONFIST remains available to the plant over an extended period, even in soils with high pH. This makes it an ideal solution for growers facing iron chlorosis problems due to alkaline conditions, high calcium carbonate levels, or excessive phosphorus.
Mode of Application:
IRONFIST is designed exclusively for soil application. A circular trench approximately 15–20 cm deep should be dug under the canopy projection of the tree. The recommended dose per tree should be applied either directly in dry form or diluted with water into the trench, then covered with soil and irrigated. The product is absorbed by the roots and translocated throughout the plant.
When using drip irrigation systems, mix 250 g of IRONFIST per decare and apply through the system.
Timing of Application:
IRONFIST should be applied at the onset of iron deficiency symptoms. The most effective time for application is early spring, just before bud break.
For optimal results, the total dose can be split into two applications:
Half before bud break
The other half after flowering, during early fruit formation.
Compatibility:
IRONFIST is generally applied alone. However, it can be mixed with many powdered or liquid fertilizers. It should not be mixed with fertilizers containing heavy metals such as copper (Cu). Always perform a compatibility test before preparing large-scale mixtures.
