How Does the Process Work?

Application and Evaluation Process
Every candidate starting a new position first undergoes an interview process conducted by Human Resources. Considering all companies within the group, applicants are pre-screened to identify the candidate who best fits the corporate culture and company values.

Throughout the hiring process, an assessment center method is employed, which includes competency-based interviews.

The tools used by Human Resources in the initial interview are:

  • Competency-based interview focused on traits aligned with company values,
  • An inventory designed to decode behavioral patterns,
  • A general aptitude test.

Following this, the manager conducts one or more position-specific interviews to select the best candidate.

Selection methods used during these interviews, considering job-specific competencies, include:

  • Market research,
  • Strategic presentation exercises,
  • Role-playing exercises,
  • Agenda tasks.

Every candidate who participates in the interview process is informed of the outcome—whether positive or negative—in accordance with company principles. Resumes of candidates not suitable for the position are retained in a virtual resume bank for two years to be considered for other roles. Our company prefers to use the website kariyer.net for the recruitment process.

The primary criterion in recruitment is assessing whether the candidate possesses the competencies required for the job. According to the job requirements, the candidate’s educational background, necessary experience duration, and other qualifications are reviewed in sequence.

For applicants to the marketing department, a degree in agricultural engineering is specifically required. In other departments, relevant engineering fields (industrial, mechanical, food, etc.) as well as business administration and economics are among the preferred areas of higher education.

As the hierarchy moves to lower levels, this preference broadens for certain roles (such as production, logistics, etc.) to include vocational and apprenticeship schools within the industrial sector.

Internship programs are organized annually to provide engineering faculty and vocational/industrial high school students with opportunities to learn about Doktor Tarsa companies and gather information about their fields of work. This program also aims to evaluate the potential workforce for long-term collaboration with our institution. Internship applications for university students are accepted between April and June, while applications for vocational high school students are accepted before the academic term begins.

Priority is given to first, second, and third-year students of engineering faculties. Applications are evaluated through one-on-one interviews. When making placements, special attention is given to matching candidates’ qualities with the long-term needs of the departments. Suitable candidates are invited, and those who are not selected are always informed.

Internship applications from final-year university students are not considered for internships but are accepted as job applications.

Note: In addition to job postings, any unsolicited applications you submit will be retained in our resume database for 6 months, provided they meet the qualifications we seek, so they can be considered for future opportunities.
